The exhibition is owned and organised by BARA (British Automation & Robot Association), the respected advocate of the UK robotics and automation industries. BARA promotes the use of and assists in the development of, industrial robots and automation in British industry. It provides strong support to assist with the growth of the automation sector in the UK, as well as having a presence overseas at the International Federation of Robotics.

BARA, along with the PPMA (Processing and Packaging Machinery Association) and UKIVA (UK Industrial Vision Association), are part of Automate UK. The group of companies represent more than 550 member companies and boast a track record of delivering innovative, relevant and successful events designed to help members sell more products and services. Launched in 2023, Automate UK is the leading trade association for automation suppliers and end users of technology across processing, packaging and machine vision.
